Tax Information
MARION COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 6.85 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $23.14

This year's levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures exceeds last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.  Also, this year's M&O tax rate is higher than the effective maintenance and operations tax rate.  The tax rate will effectively be raised by 6.94 percent.
